How do I create an account?

Click the "Sign Up" button on the homepage and follow the registration process. You can sign up using your email address or connect with your existing social media accounts.

Is Social Altifie free to use?

Yes! Social Altifie is free for all users. We offer premium features for creators who want advanced analytics and additional tools, but the core platform is completely free.

What video formats are supported?

We support MP4 and MOV video formats. For best results, we recommend using MP4 with H.264 encoding. Maximum file size is 500MB.

How do I upload a video?

1. Go to your Creator Dashboard
2. Click on "Upload Video" section
3. Select your video file (max 500MB)
4. Add a caption and hashtags
5. Choose whether to cross-post to TikTok (if connected)
6. Click "Upload Video"

Can I edit my video after uploading?

You can edit the caption, hashtags, and privacy settings after uploading. However, you cannot replace the video file itself. If you need to change the video, you'll need to delete and re-upload it.

How do I connect my TikTok account?

1. Go to your Creator Dashboard
2. Find the "TikTok Integration" section
3. Click "Connect TikTok Account"
4. You'll be redirected to TikTok to authorize the connection
5. After authorization, you'll be redirected back to Social Altifie

What is cross-posting?

Cross-posting allows you to upload a video to Social Altifie and automatically post it to your connected TikTok account at the same time. This saves you time and helps you reach audiences on both platforms with a single upload.

How do I cross-post to TikTok?

1. Make sure your TikTok account is connected
2. When uploading a video, check the "Also post to TikTok" checkbox
3. Your video will be uploaded to Social Altifie first
4. Then it will automatically be posted to your TikTok account
5. You'll see status updates for both uploads

Can I disconnect my TikTok account?

Yes, you can disconnect your TikTok account at any time from your Creator Dashboard. This will revoke Social Altifie's access to your TikTok account. Previously cross-posted videos will remain on TikTok.

What permissions does Social Altifie need?

We only request the minimum permissions necessary to cross-post videos to TikTok. We can post videos on your behalf (only when you explicitly choose to cross-post) and access basic profile information. We never access your private messages, followers list, or other sensitive data.

Who can see my videos?

You control who can see your videos. You can set each video to Public (everyone), Friends Only, or Private (only you). You can change these settings at any time.

How do I report inappropriate content?

Click the three-dot menu on any video and select "Report". Choose the reason for reporting and submit. Our moderation team will review the report within 24 hours.

How is my data protected?

We take privacy seriously. Your data is encrypted, we never sell your information to third parties, and you have full control over what you share. Read our Privacy Policy for complete details.

My video upload failed. What should I do?

• Check that your video is under 500MB
• Ensure you're using MP4 or MOV format
• Check your internet connection
• Try refreshing the page and uploading again
• If the problem persists, contact support

TikTok cross-posting isn't working

• Make sure your TikTok account is still connected
• Try disconnecting and reconnecting your TikTok account
• Check that your video meets TikTok's requirements (duration, format, etc.)
• Ensure you have a stable internet connection
